Our History

From the intuition of Marco Sauchelli, our Founder and Director, together with his wife Nunzia Armillotta, PROJECT INTERNATIONAL SRL was born in 2001. In the following years, Project International, constantly growing, became one of the best-known companies in the standardized mold components sector throughout Italy...

In 2007, despite a period of international industrial crisis, Project International increased its sales throughout Italy, entering into partnerships with some of the largest manufacturers in the world, including AZOL-GAS, DME, STANDART KALIP and many others, and above all established itself as a direct and approved supplier of some of the most important Italian and foreign groups, including FIAT/FCA (now Stellantis) and Whirlpool.

Commercial growth and development continued, and by 2010-2011, Project International was present throughout Italy, with its products and authorized agents and resellers throughout the Italian industrial fabric, in the sheet metal and plastic mold market.

From 2014 to 2016, the new Project International product catalogs were launched, enriched with a significant expansion of the product range, the result of a strong supplier base and several key production partnerships, allowing customers to benefit from a vast selection of products and solutions for molds and molding.

In 2017, a "Just in Time" production line was created, custom-designed by Project International to support manufacturers, especially in the blanking sector. This often allows production to obtain blanking punches and dies within 48 hours, thus avoiding interruptions and delays to a fully operational production line.

Project International's guiding principle, which has enabled its rapid growth, has always been to never turn its back on its customers, in any situation, even the most complicated, seeking and finding satisfactory and cost-effective solutions. 2018 also saw growth at an international level, with a significant increase in exports, not only in Europe.

In 2021, twenty years after its founding, Project International reached approximately 40 countries, outside of Italy, and continues to position itself among the leading companies in the sector in Italy...

In 2024, Project International underwent significant changes. In keeping with its vision for continuity and renewed ambition for growth, majority ownership of the company was transferred to Sauchelli Valerio and Sauchelli Fabio, who joined founder Marco Sauchelli at the helm. The Sauchelli family thus continues to pursue the ambitious project of continuous growth and development, which has made the company one of the leading Italian companies in the standardized mold components market, both in Italy and abroad.

Also in 2024, to seal this important transformation, Project International purchased a new 1,500-square-meter facility, a significant investment in growth, expansion, and innovation of its facilities, inventory, and equipment.
